If you are in the process of repairing your roof, you want to make sure that you consider all your choices carefully. #1: Are you licensed to do this type of work? You want to make sure that they are licensed in your state to perform roofing work. #5: Where are the old shingles going as they are taken off of your roof? You want to make sure that they don’t get thrown in your yard but placed inside of a container so they can be hauled off.
#6: Can you get an estimate in writing? Because there are so many differences these days, it is best to have everything in writing before anything is done or agreed upon.
You want to make sure that you are covered on all different aspects throughout the process of replacing your roof. While you may want to trust everything that was discussed and mentioned, you really need everything to be in writing as well.
